Question 1

Who manufactures Lavish Haus furniture?

Accepted Answer

Every Lavish Haus piece is hand-built by MicWood Furnitures, our manufacturing partner. Lavish Haus is the showroom and customer-facing brand; MicWood is the workshop behind every piece.

Question 2

Where is the Lavish Haus showroom?

Accepted Answer

Our first showroom is opening in Johannesburg. Visit the Showroom page for the address, hours and how to book a private viewing.

Question 3

Why don't you list prices online?

Accepted Answer

Because most Lavish Haus pieces are made to order with a choice of timber, finish and fabric, pricing depends on your exact specification. Request a quote and we'll respond with a detailed price within one business day.

Question 4

Can I buy online?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Lavish Haus currently operates as a quotation-based showroom while we prepare full online ordering. Every collection page has a Request a Quote button that starts the process.

Question 5

Can you build a piece that isn't in your collections?

Accepted Answer

Yes — bespoke commissions are a core part of what the MicWood workshop does. Start with the Custom Furniture page or a quote request describing what you have in mind.

Question 6

How long does a custom commission take?

Accepted Answer

Most custom pieces take 10–16 weeks from approved design to delivery, depending on complexity and material availability.

Question 7

Do you deliver outside Johannesburg?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we deliver across South Africa. Delivery timelines and costs depend on location and are confirmed with your quote.

Question 8

How do I care for solid timber furniture?

Accepted Answer

Every piece ships with finish-specific care instructions. As a general rule, keep timber out of direct sun, use coasters for hot or wet items, and re-oil open-grain finishes annually.
